The question was soft, and the Lykoi hybrid allowed smile to lit her face. Silas had in fact made her life considerably better, just by being a small part of it. It was a wonderful compliment to hear that she looked better, at least. Perhaps part of the depression has been from lack of physical activity. It had made her feel sick not to be doing her daily hours of workout in the backyard of the mansion.

A nod was given as her grandmother complimented her child’s behaviour as well. In fact, Itachi’s personality had never been a source of irritation. He had always been quiet—not really gotten into trouble. It was harder to say what he was like here, when his crappy mother was out of the image most of the time, but his good behaviour seemed to have continued. That was a very positive thing, for Halo did not like to think that she had burdened Kaena with this child. "You always were a good boy." The mother smiled at her son and was glad to see him smile back at her, though she was uncertain if joy would ever fully reach his eyes.

”I’ve tried to get out more,” the red eyed female continued hesitantly, wondering whether or not she would dare to speak of the blue eyed Russian male as long as her child was seated between the two adults. ”Tried to meet more of the clan and renew the few friendships I have.” they were few, in fact. Halo was not an individual easy to get along with, so those few she had were precious. Most of all Silas’.
