There was nothing else. There was no world. No Inferni. No D’Neville. It could only be he and Halo. It was all Silas could see, all he could focus on. Her movement closer to him had created strange emotions he could not clearly discern, but he knew it was what he wanted. Moments ago she had been sitting alongside him, and now it seemed as if she could not get any closer. Silas welcomed the warmth of her lithe frame as her arms snaked their way around him and allowed them to move closer.
Though thoughts were preoccupied with the electricity of their first kiss, palms gently explored and caressed the gentle curve of her back and attempted to hold her closer, though no distance really separated them now. He would never be able to put into words how perfect this moment felt, and his heart yearned for it never to cease. Lungs burned with the need for oxygen, and yet the Russian could not allow himself to break away from her satin caress yet. And as if to prolong the moment even more, Silas let one hand trail away from the small plane of her back and instead find her face, fingertips sweeping amongst the copper of her hair. How lucky was he to have the Inferni princess in such a way.
When the need for air was too much, the boy reluctantly broke away from the warmth of her mouth. Easily he found her neck again, planting kisses there while both palms continued to explore her frame. The fear and inhibitions he had felt before were no longer there, and thoughts remained focused merely on the burning in his frame while Halo remained pressed close to him. Perhaps he wasn’t thinking logically of what this all could mean or how it could potentially affect her, but it didn’t matter at the moment. Thoughts now had become primitively carnal and the Russian could only focus on how much he needed Halo. Did she need him too?
With oxygen recovered, the boy moved to find her lips again, stealing away yet another kiss from the Inferni princess. Unsurprisingly, the second meeting was just as heart meltingly passionate as the first.
