It was nice to hear the kind word from the female at his side, she was proving to him that not all souls out in this world was cold like his father’s or his father’s friends. In fact she was a great comfort for that male to have around in stressful time when he had to do a lot of talking; she was like his own person translator for those that had issues understanding what he was saying. The male smiled at her, as he looked to her when she spoke, she started to tell her story and then it was like something had happened in her past that made her stop, the male looked to her, with a soft low whine. He pushed his head into her shoulder, he didn’t want her upset. She was to nice and sweet to be upset, and as the leader had said this was her home now, just as it was for him. No one would hurt her here; he would make sure of that. He failed once to protect someone, he would not allow it to happen again.
Lifting his head up he saw the female of the blackest of coats, he had found something about her funny, and yet nice. Like a good friend that always knew how to make you laugh and would never say you where fat, to any one or on anything. The silver male looked up at the black yearling with a small nod. He wasn’t sure if he was thrilled about this many wolves gathered in one small area, one or two fine, but this many made the male a bit jumpy.
Moving his paws under his body he stood up looking at Adonia, he tipped his maw as he stepped back away from the circle, he wanted to know the members of his pack but he was still working on getting all of the bones out of his closet, and a part of that was allowing trust to come back into his hear.
