put your hands into the fire.

Adonia watched looked up and saw Jefferson. His words meant more to her than she would let on, and a light smile came over her maw. Her eyes averted from his only to look to Noah who also seemed to sense something off about her for a moment. Feelings his contact was quite comforting and her smile grew some, "I'm fine..really.." She played off her own emotions as though they were something to be ignored and not taken seriously. It was how she was, letting her happiness be pushed down, letting her sadness also be pushed down deep inside. It did have it's side affects. She couldn't talk about her problems at all, or anything that translated into her past. It made her overly emotional, as emotions were piled and piled upon. This wasn't good, and yet she didn't know it at all. It made her a ticking time bomb ready to go off, whether it was in pure anger, or in total emotional breakdown of tears.

Her eyes looked to Rendall, eyes opening as they met those white gray eyes. The female looked beautiful and in a way Adonia felt jealous of her beauty. She glanced over to Noah who seemed to have been taken by the female. The wolf dog kept herself quiet as usual, then noticed him get up and nod to her. Ears perked and she gave a small smile before her eyes looked away and around to the crowd. It had been a long time since she was surrounded by so many, the last time it was around her family, her father's side. All those wolves, and not many liked her. Her mind was beginning to play with her, telling her this was the same. Not many liked her, surely she didn't mean much to them, if anything at all. It made her want to leave, escape. Perhaps go to the barn where the horses slept and just sit there in the field watching the stars. The thought made her feel better. Standing up slowly, her tail remained low, eyes peered around to the others as she moved out of the fire's light. Paws moved with complete silence, any noise they made was drowned out by the fire's cackle and the voices of the others.

As she got to the darkness of the night, and only a few feet away she watched the others in silence. Her rear found itself slowly dropping. She didn't want to be alone, but she feared being around the others. Her mind always playing tricks on her, telling her things that she heard many times in her life from her mother. She licked her lips nervously, before she finally decided to look to the sky. The shy and socially nervous wolf dog allowed her head to clear letting her anxieties be forgotten. She could feel the tension in her shoulders melt away, then finally a deep sigh came from her. This was a little better. She wasn't ready to leave, she liked the comfort of others around her, but to be so close made her become extremely anxious. Eventually she'd sleep completely away, but not just yet.
