Yayyyy! <3

She had found herself near the large stream of water again, as her fur brushed past the final expanse of dense trees and into the early morning sun. Malachi licked her muzzle, having just finished off a plump rabbit on the way. The creature wasn't all too sure of where she was going, she just let her paws take her where they wanted. It was the belief, which she believed in wholeheartedly, that nature ran its course, even through one's body, so it would be too negative of an effect to tell one's body what to do otherwise.

Mala was going to cross the lake, but she wasn't about to swim in it. Hell no. Her waddling stopped as she found a nice set of soaked grass and some rocks to tread upon, and she made the short journey towards it. Her mind was reeling as her paws slowly pressed onto the first rock and muddy grass patch, looking from her paws to her destination on the other side. Malachi had no idea why she was so afraid of being neck-deep in water, but it scared the bejeebus out of her. Imagine, a big animal like her afraid of a bit of water.

She exhaled a long breath that she didn't even realize she was holding, as the last of her legs made it across dry land once more. Mala swung her head around to look back at it, twitching her ears in thought. Would the spirits someday lead her in the water, to overcome her fear? The creature was almost always around water anyways, but when she thought about it.. it was more of fate bringing her there than chance.
A gust of wind picked up and floated through her nostrils and filling her lungs, with the scent of... a friendly sort! Mala turned away from the expanse of water and ambled through a field, already beginning to smell the scent of berries. But it wasn't delicious berries she was after, she wanted to know what this sign was. Pushing forward, she stopped when the scents became much stronger. Lifting her muzzle to sniff again, her brain clicked and her eyes shot open.

This was the scent of a wolf, or two, that she knew! They were fresh, and somewhere nearby, she knew Shaw and or Skye would be close. Her body fidgeted, pacing back and forth a few times in the field. She did detect the smell of other wolves whom she was not familiar, therefore Mala thought there must be a tribe or group somewhere near. But her concern wasn't of them at the moment, and her cream muzzle lifted into the air. A howl, or what she attempted at a howl, shot through the skies, hoping she'd see a familiar face or two. The sound that emitted from her throat and audible to anyone within range was more of a growl or bellow or some sort, without any trace of threat. Malachi then fell silent, her ears twitching and waiting for a sign, all the while wagging her stubby tail.
