Sorry, Saluce is sad
The male that had not so long ago stalked the boarders in his Secui form now walked on two legs, his twin blades hanging by his sides. A lot had changed in the last month, winter had been pushing into the land even as the last few burnt leaves clung to the great trees that had sprang up around the land. Saluce hadn’t spoken to anyone about his children’s still birth. And most likely he wouldn’t talk with anyone about it. For now it was his way, and he would remain stoic and calm about it all, while Layla grieved. He couldn’t allow himself to do that, even though it ate at him every day. Maybe he had gone soft, maybe the conflicting emotions within him would drive him crazy, but for now he dealt with heart break as he always did… alone.
Since the terrible day he hadn’t remained around the house that much, he hadn’t really spoken to her that much either. He would only bring meals to her; lay next to her but he couldn’t bring himself to speak to her. Nothing could be said to heal that wound, and so figured he would wait until she was feeling better to hopefully start going back to normal life. But for now he patrolled, and trained to help clear his mind. This time around he wasn’t so distant from her, he hadn’t abandoned her, and he wouldn’t. He’d spent long nights at his shop working on her gift, hoping to have it done before spring but already several attempts had been abandoned. Now though he had succeeded in the first step of forging it and maybe he’d continue it later that day.
So far he was in a somber mood, and as his form trekked across the landscape he didn’t anticipate meeting anyone, and if he did he wasn’t sure he’d greet them very kindly. Everything was skewed, and when his eyes looked around the landscape he only saw the death of the season. A classic depression case, swallowed in sorrow…
