He couldn’t help but open an eye when Oak called his name out in concern, he felt bad as soon as he started playing dead, it was only a game, and he didn’t know that Oak has much of a concept of living and dead. The pup was probably older than he seemed. Shaw gave a moan,

Shhhh I’m pretending to be dead!

He grumbles and rolled onto his back, his limbs dangled, and his eyes now fully open to look at his new friend. How could he pretend to be dead with that look? He felt bad that he’d concerned the pup in that kind of way, he really didn’t think he was that good of an actor. He hoped that Oak would feel better now that Shaw was only pretending.
