OOC: Could we move it back to November 4th or 5th? 8D Conor and Bris make up on the 6th, and I'd like this one to happen before that! Is that ok? <333 WC: 461

It had been a long few weeks, that much could be said. They'd been spent mostly in a daze by the white Stormbringer woman, theta of Dahlia de Mai. Most of her time had brought solitude of her own choosing. Bris knew she should have been happy with the realization of children on the way, but she wasn't. On the contrary, she was devastated. She knew Conor was just as terrified as she was, but the woman couldn't help the deep hurt she still felt in her heart at her beloved's reaction to the news of her pregnancy. She would never force herself to miscarry, and it had both shocked and pained her that the Dahlian alpha had even tried to suggest it.

Bris was unaware that anyone had noticed the recent change in her personality. She'd been trying to hide her feelings as best she could, putting on a happy face when spending time with Gideon while feeding his two adopted children. It was pretty much the only socializing the woman had done for the past few weeks, and putting on a pleasant facade took more energy than she cared to admit. Most of the rest of her time was spent either away from the packlands in her claimed refuge at Blackmoor Castle, or curled up on her bed in her room making jewelry to pass the time.

The latter setting was where the woman could be found now. It was raining outside, the perfect weather for the mood the white shewolf was in. She'd spent the morning working on polishing and smoothing a few gemstones, not feeling creative nor energetic enough to design any actual jewelry pieces as yet. The last piece she'd finished had been the necklace she'd given to Conor, and she wasn't even sure if the mail was still wearing it. She hoped so, but given the way their relationship had recently been going, Bris wouldn't be surprised if he'd chosen to remove it.

A gentle knock at the woman's door drew Bris from her bed. It took her a moment to ease herself off, as the sound that had echoed throughout her quiet room had nearly shocked her from her trance-like solitude. No one had sought her out since she'd withdrawn herself from most of the pack's happenings, and she wondered who it could be. Gideon usually just knocked once and then came right in, but he'd been far too busy with the Soul twins and his reunited brothers lately to seek his aunt for any leisurely time. Still, Bris' door was technically open to any and all members of Dahlia de Mai, and she donned her best good-mood smile and eased the door open. "Saul! What are you up to? Come in, come in!"
