Puppies~
His day was another lazy one, wandering the pack territories from his home at Lunenburg into the other regions. He was starting to wander more frequently, to broaden his horizons, to learn more about the land around him. Of course, it wasn't really a learning experience. He was just satisfying his curiosity. It was quite a trek he had made, coming closer to the grotto on the other side of the region. His toes were hurting now, but it didn't stop him from chasing the lingering grasshoppers around the ground, farther away from his comfort zone, his rusty-red tail waggling behind him. Pounce, hop, pounce. Another one got away, leaving him huffing and losing heart.
The area he looked at while taking a break was different, not really anything like his home near the edge of the Shattered Coast. It still smelled salty, a little familiar, but the scents were new and he liked it. They tickled his nose, making him smile, causing his tail to wag even faster. His little, oversized paws crushed the dying grass underneath them, his brown eyes scanning the ground before him. He was prone to tripping, something he would rather avoid. Ever since he tripped the day he met Niro, his toes didn't bend right and his feet hurt more easily, but he was too young to know what it was to worry about things like that.
When the cabin came into view, he was surprised. Someone actually lived out that far? Unless it was abandoned, which was ignored because of the fresh smells of other beings nearby, it was a strange place to have a house. No one was really close to it. Of course, no one was really close to Lunenburg either, and he relied on the people he met in his daily wanderings to find friendship. The placement was still puzzling to him. Hesitantly, he neared the cabin and poked around, sniffing at the ground and grass. "Weird place." It was a statement more than a question, but a loud one that wasn't really purposeful. It was, to him, very weird.
