Eyebrows rose above somewhat stunned lilac, but it lasted only for a moment before his face found life again, positively surprised that he had found such a casual creature that at the same time was the leader of the newly established pack to the southwest. Shawchert Menue was an alien name, but he was not surprised to find that the name was unknown to him. ”Well, well!” He knew Dahlia best, and the rest of the packs were not familiar grounds, except for perhaps Crimson Dreams where a large portion of family reigned. He was aware of this weakness, and he knew that he didn’t like it. Excuses were made and it was not good enough, but his days were filled with duties, so it was so easy to refrain from stepping outside pack boundaries.

The question brought more curve to his lips as she asked the same question about Dahlia’s leadership. Palms turned upwards in a relaxed gesture, for this was turning into an interesting encounter, aside from the crazed horse and splat on the tree, that was. ”Well, that would have to be me,” he said, allowing the soft tones of a chuckle chime through his voice. It was not often he met leaders near these borders.

He nodded as she spoke more about the horse, and the thought of building stables and acquiring more was not at all a bad one. Dahlia had no horses as far as he was aware, and it was a shame. Then again, he supposed he had to read up a bit on the animals before doing anything about it. ”That sounds like a good idea,” he offered, complimenting the futuristic possibilities Skye had expressed.
