Cypress half expected that Ehno was simply teasing him and that he was up to something different altogether because trying to catch a fish with a stick and some string just didn't seem very plausable at all in the pups mind. Especially when it seemed that male only stood in the water and waited for something to happen. Cypress had found fish to be nearly impossible to snatch from the shallows, so catching one when you couldn't even see it seemed only that much more impossible. Blue eyes watched as the Marino male pulled in his line and made the few steps back to shore, curiosity showing through the doubt. The youth watched with interest as Ehno settled next to him and revealed to him some of the secrets to this so called 'fishing'.

There was more too it than Cypress had firsted imagined. Blue eyes looking with wonder at the hook and the bug that was impaled on it. His tail wagged behind him in excitement. "Oh I see now! That makes a lot more sense." Until Ehno had first showed him the baited hook and explained it, he had no idea how one could expected to catch a fish doing what he had seen the other doing. Though now, he could see how it must just work. It was a clever idea. "Does fish taste good?" The question spoken as quickly as it had popped into his mind. Cypress was pretty sure he had never ate fish before. Despite many attempts at trying to catch the silvery beast.
