A ghost in the system, and angel on the stairs.

“Hmm,” Tayui mused. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be in a self-labelled pack of misfits and outcasts. What she wanted was to find someplace that felt like home, not someplace she could default to as her last option. She wasn't sure how she felt about such a pack, but couldn't think of anything else besides Dahlia de Mai. She supposed Phoenix Valley was another option: from what she understood, it was just a mix-and-match pack of all sorts of wolves who needed a home. She wondered what would really be best for her. She supposed she could only make an informed decision if she knew more, so she decided to press Theodore for further elaboration.

“What of the pack structure? Ranking system? Leaders and organization? How many members do you have so far?” She kept her tone neutral, but now she had entered research mode. Her voice shifted, revealing her interest. It gave her a thrill to learn new information, like when she read books and encountered new material. It was exciting for her to learn more, for her goal in life for many years had simply been to acquire as much information about the world around her as possible. That had been whey she and Pilot had founded Shadowed Sun; but she supposed a pack of academics would never be as popular as she would have liked.
