We where about an hour outside of Halifax when the drugs started to take hold. I remember saying something like:

“Hurry up the Colors are beautiful”, But of course he had no idea what I meant. Because when you’re a Demi Goddess, half Doctor, half evil genius, your intellect is often over looked. I had taken a drip of Angel Dust, along with a hit of the JuJu move your feet 3,000’s. Of course I had silly names for common drugs discovered and cooked by humans but none of these idiots knew what they were. So I made up my own. It’s a quirk, take it on faith that I know the differences between a Juju move your feet 3,000 and a Demi JuJu #4. But the real question do you? So I was doped up on Hallucinogens and a hit of meth. But it damn sure made the trip much more interesting with ole boring behind me. It’d soon wear off by the time we made it to Halifax, and by then I’d need a clear mind. Because when you’re a Mad Scientist, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

Demi was quite messed up at the moment, normally she kept a clear mind on her but the trip and all the new people really were just irritating her. Now she had a shadow, the irritant male who was escorting her. Well at least she had put him to use, given him a pack so that he could carry back items as well. Already excited about visiting a big city, she wondered if she would be able to find all the items on her shopping list, which was nestled in the cute little pair of shorts she wore just for spite against the weather. Quite sure that her escort was enjoying the view from behind, her eyes though saw nothing but swirls of brilliant shades of pastel against a back drop of gray. The upper she had taken had given her a lot of energy along with this magical trip, probably was a good thing she had company since she wouldn’t know how to make her way back.

A soft step and she stopped to look behind her at the tall monster following her. The only thing she found interesting where his white gloves and tail, it made her laugh in silly outbursts. Like a skunk, except he didn’t smell like one yet. Normally such things in her previous pack meant she would do everything she could to make this males life a living hell, but since he reminded her of her brother, he received some leverage. She’d let him hang around for now, if he proved to be interesting enough she might keep him around longer. Demi cocked her head to the side with a grin as she waited for him to move up to her.

“So enjoying your decision yet? Or where their other reasons much less than the Nobel pursuit of escorting a Female such as I?” she was playing with him. Knowing enough to know that he most likely wouldn’t have given much though to escorting her if he didn’t like her enough. To bad he’d know enough about her before long, maybe if he stuck around after those revelations he may be worth something yet.

“I have a shopping list full of hard to find items and this is the biggest city I’ve visited. So I’m hopeful to expand my lab… um hum a Doctor’s hut” she winked and then started forward again. Wondering what was going on in Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome head.
