The days were changing and the leaves had changed into different colors. The fall hues brought new found like to Sepirah and made the pack lands look more magnificent than they already were. Now the place actually started to look like it was on fire. In one sense it was amazing, but another not so much. While fire was amazing and beautiful to look at, it could also be destructive. The dark princess gave a small sigh before jumping out of her cave and stretching out her sore limbs. Sleeping on rock was a bit uncomfortable, but the jackal was able to tolerate it. Her tail hung high in the air as she gave a long yawn. She was ready to start her day.

Seeing as Sepirah had not journeyed to all the areas of her pack’s territory, she thought she would take the moment to explore. It was like a new adventure for the dark female and she was going to make the best of it. The dark princess padded along until she came to the forest on the eastern edge of the pack lands. The trees were tall and the soft breeze caused even the strongest leaves to fall. The jackal was already lost in the maze of trees and tried to find her way out. She was sure there was some better place to hang out than here.

While Sepirah was trying to sniff her way out, she paused and moved her ears around. She could hear the movement of something coming towards her. The dark princess ducked behind a log and noticed a pack of deer wandering her way. This was the perfect opportunity to get a meal to share with someone or to store away for the rest of the pack once winter hit. The jackal quietly stepped out of her hiding place and crouched down low. She had to pick one out that she would be able to take down on her own. So far all of them looked strong and healthy. The dark woman hoped that maybe someone would show up to help her.
