Sepirah couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Was someone trying to leave the pack without someone noticing? It was the only logical explination. She followed the dark figure, gaining ground each moment she was following. The figure was becoming more clear. It was a female and a dark one at that. No wonder it was perfect for her to leave during the night. She did notice something more. It was the marking on her shoulder, it seemed so familiar. She paused to make sure she was not able to be spotted, even though following this female was not the easiest thing in the world. The jackal kept her golden eyes fixed on her target and continued in pursuit.

It was bound to happen eventually, Sepirah was caught following her. What surprised her was that the female knew her name. She listened carefully to the female’s voice and finally a name came to mind. It was her Aunt Eris. What was she doing so late at night and why was she so nervous about someone following her? The dark princess shook her head and came out from the shadows to confront her aunt. She looked to her and sighed. ”Yes I am… it’s not every night that their aunt goes wandering around in the middle of the night.” The jackal was trying to get at Eris’ motivation for this act but in a more subtle way. She waited patiently before speaking again. ”So what are you doing all the way out here? Isn’t it a little late for you to be wandering around?” The dark female could say the same for herself but she had a good reason. She had gotten lost and couldn’t figure out how to get out of the woods. She was just trying to find the borders and head back towards her own home.
