It had been a while since Shiloh had seen a familiar face. She was yearning for seeing someone, anyone, at this point. It had been the white female's decision alone to pick herself up, say goodbye to her father and companions at Inferni, and travel back to Dahlia de Mai. At least there, she'd be welcomed with open paws, by family members.. and perhaps other people who would adore her. While she loved her father, Shi's short time in the pack of coyotes was just.. strange. They didn't have much of a liking for wolves, her included, and their mannerisms were grotesque and almost uncivilized. At least, that's how she thought of them. The darling, pristine, white princess would have none of it, and so she felt she had to go back.

A smile crossed the young female's muzzle, as she gingerly carried herself along a path that was slowly becoming more and more worn. Green grass stretched for miles all around her, and the dirt she tread on was well packed down - just the way she liked it. An ear flicked on top of her cream-striped head, and Shiloh swore she caught the sound of the shore nearby. Oh how she loved that sound, she had been following the sounds of water lapping on sand since she left. It meant she was that much closer to home. She remembered her father telling her, as she and him went back to Inferni together a few months ago, to follow those sounds, which linked both of her homes together. Though she didn't think she could belong in Inferni (at least not without her father protecting her), perhaps the female could find it where her brothers now currently resided.

The young female held her head up high, feeling extremely confident. She didn't see where she was going, though, and stepped into a patch of muddy snow. Her body froze mid-step, and her tail, curled up high on her rump, slumped down immediately. A flash of anger burned through her cerulean eyes, and her stiff head tilted down, as if she dared herself to look. What she saw was what she expected, but not what she hoped. Half of her front right paw sunk down, covered with slush and dirt.

"Ahhhh! No no no no!" She cried out to the frosty air, forgetting that the scents of the wolves of Dahlia de Mai were very close. The young female spun around a few times, shaking her paw vigorously to rid of the grime. Oh how she hated getting dirty! Why now? Why of all times, when she was so close to strutting around and presenting herself in front of friends and family? Shiloh whined, and once the dirt she could shake off was gone, with disgust written on her face she began to clean herself with a wide tongue. This wasn't new to her, even when she wasn't dirty Shi would constantly clean her fur. It was the way she was, and this white and cream damsel would not change that.
