ooc;; saul is NOT late! ^^

Saul had been unable to be in the room in the first place, let alone remove himself after his Aunt started pushing. Gideon had been in there for a while but as soon as Bris's whines and groans had grown in volume and there was movement inside, the dark male had joined Saul outside in the hallway. This was obviously a very stressful time for both his aunt and his leader and Saul didnt fancy being in the way all that much. Perhaps it was because Gideon had been here longer and was closer to Bris than Saul himself but his younger brother had been unable to be inside the room when the white woman was still contracting.

Green eyes watched his brother pace up and down from his vantage point on the floor. He knew Nayru was in there, as well as Conor. He had no idea where Ascher was- perhaps he was entertaining Melee and Range as he was nowhere in sight either. Saul watched his brother ringing his hands and a smile graced his lips. Anyone would have thought that they were his pups being delivered in there. Keen ears could hear when the first of his cousins was born and a large grin caught his lips when a soft mewling could be heard from inside. A few words had been said between Bris and Conor but he hadnt been paying enough attention to pick out what they'd said to each other. Now all his senses were trained on that beautiful sound.

It apparently wasnt over yet however and Saul listened as the signs of his aunt giving birth to another cousin reached them. However, it was obvious that something was wrong. The profound silence radiating from the room was deadly, even after he heard his aunts voice and the answering rumble of Conor. There was something wrong with the second born and Saul was not a idiotic as he looked. He knew that it had been stillborn, but that didnt make the sadness go away. He had one cousin, but he had also lost one. He didnt know what his aunt and Conor were going through right now but he could certainly sympathise. Green eyes shot up as Gideon moved towards the door, a short knock the only words either of them could say. Clambering to his feet Saul stood behind his brother, hands clenching at his sides. He wanted to see his aunt, make sure she was okay.
