I realize we have two threads at once, but I just had to! Big Grin

Roleplaying as if Dawali has called for a surprise meeting (no preparations), and members have already arrived or are late, depending on what you want :3 Allow Sanuye and Ralla to post first, please.

He'd been playing the drums since they started to arrive, and he was fairly certain that they must be curious by now. He smiled a little to himself and looked out onto the paved dancing circle in front of him, and the tribesmembers that stood around it and awaiting some kind of event to occur. Flames from the Great Fire seemed to set his own pelt aflame, its copper and russet hues greatly complimented by the flickering light. Torches were set up around the dancing ground, and in a path to the Town Hall, where Dawali only knew someone hid and awaited a cue. The scent of tobacco was spreading by a large packet positioned by the very edge of the fire, slowly burning and granting them all that special scent of a Tribe feast. Not only that, but the strong scents from foods placed in a large pile behind him made it obvious that something was happening; some event would be celebrated. But what? Smiling secretively, the Chief suddenly began to sing loudly, a traditional song often sung by the Elders on festive occasions such as these. For two years, Dawali had not had the chance to see the kind of performance in a long time, and his yellow irises yearned to take in another spectacle that reminded him of his old home. It was far away, but closer on nights like these than ever. His song rang loudly, easily overcoming the roar of the Great Fire, and the sounds of the drum in his lap soon made for a stable rhythm. He arched his neck in the direction of the Town Hall with an expectant look on his face.
