Flames make for the perfect dance tool. WC: 694 {5 points}

Sanuye had been preparing for this day since the moment Dawali told her about the secret of the next meeting. She was so happy to be able to participate in something for the tribe. Her heart was racing the whole night before. It was hard for the coyote to be able to contain her excitement. She would be able to take the dance her father taught her and use some other instruments to make it more interesting. Thanks to Dawali, she was able to make her own instrument and practice with it when no one was around. She used the fire from her own wood so that she didn’t seem like she was disrespecting the Great Fire. She would have to get some more wood later, but for now it was a time of celebration. She was going to shine as well as her fellow wolf in her skills, Ralla. They had planned out their dance and was sure it was going to make the crowd gasp with excitement.

Sanuye woke up early so that she could get a little more practice in before the ceremony started. The coyote only did some simple movements so that she would be more ready for the whole ceremony. Once she was done, she could feel the chill settling in for the day. She crawled back into her den to put on some clothes. She put on a nice top that had some feathers hanging from the bottom of it and a smaller skirt to make sure that none of her clothes caught on fire. The hybrid put out the flames on her ring and began to head for the village. Her tail wagged with joy as she left her home and towards the center of the tribe. The girl wondered who all besides the ones providing the entertainment. She padded along, eager to find out.

Sanuye seemed to arrive early seeing as she, Ralla, and Dawali were the only ones here, but it was perfect to let her know how everything was going to play out. She took to her partner’s side and stood in the shadows. She blended in only a little bit seeing as her hues were much like Dawali’s. Lighter in front and darker on the back. Speaking of Dawali, her chief looked magnificent. She loved the way he glowed from the fire and just his looks in general. She smiled to him as she waited for the moment to begin. She turned back for a moment before her cheeks went rosy pink. The coyote never understood why she felt this way about her leader, but she liked it and wondered how he felt about their friendship.

Dawali began the uproar of music and it was Ralla’s turn for a moment in the spotlight. She watched the white wolf step out into the spotlight and begin her part of the dance. She was wonderful. The way she used the rods to dance was just stunning. The coyote stood the ring up behind her as she waited for her turn. She hoped that she would do just as well as her partner. Perhaps after they each had their moment in the spotlight then they could dance together. The hybrid leaned on her ring a bit before it was her turn to go.

After an amazing performance, it was Sanuye’s turn. She moved over to Ralla and used her flames to light the ends hanging off the ring. Once they were lit, she stepped out to the center and raised the ring above her head. She then dropped it and used her arms to maneuver the ring around her body. She smiled and danced around as she felt the warms of the flames pass by her. The coyote waved her arms around as she felt the ring moving up and down her. She wagged her tail and could feel herself losing some breath. She was getting a bit tired, but she continued on. After a while of her dancing, she was done and ready to take a break. She did not know if Dawali wanted them to continue, but she would if he wanted them to.
