Kemo could hear her as if from far away trying to wake him, could feel her shaking him and calling to him, but the dream was strong. Whether by the will of the Moon or by his own mind he didn't know, but even through Ralla's persistent wakings he still remained locked inside himself, all the way up until she had placed her paws on his shoulders. At that point he had started to return to consciousness, reaching full peak by the time she had said "What are you doing here?" His eyes shot open suddenly and the nightmare was forgotten for the moment, his mind now focused on far more pressing matters. "Ralla?"
He raised his head and sniffed the air, catching Ralla's scent everywhere but even among her very powerful scent there were yet 2 more he had never scented before, though there was one that he hated to smell more than any other. Fear...but not just any fear...Ralla's fear... This caused his defense mode to skyrocket as he stood up and practically jumped out of the hollow he had made his home, taking his place directly in front of Ralla once he found her and clearing his throat, looking directly at the stranger who was treating Ralla with such disrespect just after giving Ralla a comforting nuzzle. "Who are you, strange wolf, and what are you doing in my home?" The stranger seemed extremely angry, almost to the point of attacking with his adrenaline pumping heart giving away his true motives. Who could he be, and who was the other that just seemed to stand by as if he didn't belong here?
In the pause that it took to answer, he noticed he could practically almost feel the tension in the air. He flashed one confused look back at Ralla as if asking her just who this wolf thought he was acting the way he was. He couldn't tell how large he was, but judging from the position of his beating heart and his rapid intake of breaths he was currently standing in Optime form. Why was Ralla so afraid of this wolf?
