For the past few days, much of Anann's time had been spent at the stables. The marshall was gone and someone had to take up his duties at there. It was not the first time Anann had had to fill in for Heath, but last time had just been temporary and the Marshall had only been a call away had she needed him. This time though, he might never return. Heath, Ruri, and their pups. They had all gone. Though Anann could understand their reasoning, it didn't make it any easier to swallow. She had lost her closest friend, her brother (through they shared no blood relation). So it was mostly by choice that she spent most of the past days alone. Lossing herself in the work of stables.

Not to mention the roan mare he had left in her care. Of all the horses, it was Lumière that noticed his absence most. The two had shared a strong bond. Had it not been for her pregnancy, Anann doubted he would have left her behind. Lum certainly wasn't happy about having be left, especially when Heath's other horse, Stark, was gone as well and absent from her side. Just in case, Anann was keeping a close eye on her. Hoping the extra stress would have no ill effects on the pregnancy.

The horses were fed. The stalls cleaned. Every horse had had a run out in the paddocks for some exercise and fresh air. Though even know that her duties were done she refrained from heading home to Anatoliy. Exiting the stables, she turned and leaned against the worn wood of it's side. Her hands come up to cover her face a moment, before fingers ran through the short, growing mane. Arms falling to her side with a hand clenched in a fist. She let it swing back and hit against the building with a thud, lacking any real force behind it. Everything just felt so numb.
