Let the first meeting of the Clean Club commence X3 SoSuWriMo 418

There was a small but warming fire burning in the hearth of the Wolfville house. If the weather were warmer, it was possible that Tsukiko would have ventured from her home more often, but with winter in full swing she usually preferred to stay in where it was warmer. As she swept the floor she remembered back to the hot springs her parents had taken her to on a few occasions. Soaking in that hot natural water had been so soothing and wonderful. She would give anything to be back there right now. The Japanese fey closed her eyes for a few moments, revisiting that moment in time. Her little puppy paws had paddled around in the shallows of the spring, occasionally splashing water at her father and mother. In private times like those the strictness of their noble decorum had relaxed and they could act as any common family would. In many ways, those were her favorite memories. The smiles on her parents faces, the sound of their laughter.

Reluctantly she opened her eyes again, revealing the sad reality that she now lived. A sigh pressed forth from her lungs as she looked down at the wooden floor. "Tsukiko? Anataha genki desuka?" Cerulean eyes swept over to look at Setsuna, who was laying upon the sofa, her bright yellow eyes filled with concern. "Hai, Setsuna. Watashi hachoudosorerawo oboe teimashita." The black feline nodded contemplatively. She had been very close friends with the former Shimazu clan leaders, and Tsukiko knew that she missed them almost as dearly as she herself did. "Kitai wo kome te, aru nichi sorerano kioku gasonoyouna kanashimi wo hikioko shimasen." The moonlit girl nodded at her friend's words. "Hai, itsuka..."

She offered the cat a small, slightly sad smile before she turned back to her sweeping. There was a small pile of dust and dirt that she continuously swept closer and closer to the front door. It was collected from the whole of the house, but even then the pile was not large. Tsukiko made sure to sweep every few days to avoid things getting too dirty. Once she reached the front door she opened it, her pale fur standing up at the blast of cold air from outside. Quickly she swept the dirt and dust outside. Her eyes looked at the scenery before her door for a moment, trying instead to picture the beautiful architecture of the Shimazu estate. She hoped that everything would be more or less the same when she returned.
