Welcome back! :] And wow, you guys posted in this so quickly XD wc: 362

She had wandered away from 'Souls and had visited the old, burned lands of her puppyhood, but had returned fairly quickly. Naniko was a creature of habit for the most part, caught up in the pattern of her day to day rituals, and had known when she had left that she wouldn't be able to stay away from the land of 'Souls for too long. She had left hoping to find some more of her family, maybe make a few friends or acquaintances to bring back with her. The place that she had found, New Brunswick, hadn't been very far away from the old lands at all. A week's travel, perhaps, and she had discovered an entire branch of her missing family there.

Since the formation of the pack, the silver-haired luperci had been keeping herself very busy. She checked the border more often than anything else, leaving the packlands for only very short periods of time before making a haste return. The pack was new and she didn't want to risk anything happening while she wasn't there. They'd already had one incursion, an Inferni member crossing into their territory, but she had taken care of them.

Naniko was just heading toward the border when she heard a howl, and she quickened her pace. She was in her usual optime form, hair kept back in one very long and neat braid, wearing nothing but a simple weapons-belt around her waist. In it was two poison-tipped daggers and one longer and more ceremonial-looking dagger that she used when accepting newcomers into the pack. To be accepted into Anathema a wolf had to share blood with her or Azalea and become blood-family.

She approached the pair, slowing down as she neared. Well, now. It seemed that Itachi had discovered a threat at the border. She commented on this first as she observed the new wolf and her pack mate, watching their body language. "Good job, Itachi." He didn't look as if he thought that he was in any danger, and she wondered what the stranger had come to the borders for. She hadn't trespassed, which was very important. "What have you found here, boy?"
