WC:363 OOC:Would it be okay if we predated to Dec 30th? Today the Knight rose form his bed with excitement. He was feeling well enough to move around, it now being just a week and a few days since his flesh had been ripped open by the bears claws. Now he stood on two legs, able to lean his own wound. Slowly he made his way to the room that human called a bathroom. The pack kept pails of water from the lake in the room to wash up. Removing the bandage carefully from around his chest a frown grew on his face. For a warrior he certainly didn’t car for the sight. The wound was that of four large slashes stretching diagonally down a large portion of his chest. The wound had scabbed over but with movement came the cracking of the scabs and more blood flow. Taking a soaked cloth he dabbed his chest lightly, soaking up the oozing blood. He continued to wash his chest until he deemed it good enough, probably too quickly because of his excitement. Placing fresh gauze strategically he began thickly wrapping a fresh bandage from just above his waist and up to his arm pits. Unfortunately today wouldn’t go exactly as he planned, due to the fact he couldn’t shift once the new bandages were wrapped properly, or else they would break and the slashes would break open again. Making his way back to his room he quietly moved over to the three sleeping 2 month old pups. It amazed him how quickly they had grown from tiny balls of fluff to running and talking little bodies. Sliding his new pale blue dress shirt over his shoulders he whispered, “Tony. Time to wake up son.” Rolling up his sleeves past his elbows he crouched down beside the bed. “I have a surprise for you today.” His son had been on and on about wanted to go hunting like the other adults. Of course he wouldn’t let him go anywhere near something larger than him, or the same size for that matter, but he could certainly chase a few rabbits, squirrels or mice around. Maybe sneak up on a goose or two like Lucifer had taught him. |
