Sitting down he took deep breaths. It appeared as though Pixie was going to comfort him and finally see things straight but that just wasn't the case. Suddenly she began to lecture him once again. His eyes rolled in annoyance. She just didn't seem to get it! He sat quietly like Savina would want him to do, listening only halfheartedly as she rambled on. It was true that Kansas was Savina's mate so obviously she say some good in him but in this moment he just didn't want to put up with his crap. It was always 'poor Kansas' this and 'poor Kansas' that. Never 'poor Jazper'. Maybe it was that pathetic look that the cream male had painted on his face continuously. Staring at the floor he grumbled slightly waiting for her to finish.

Her last line hit the sensitive warrior hard. No one else cared so why should he? His biological father was a strong man, a loyal and dependable male who loved his mate dearly and only wanted what was best for his family. When Jazper had stumbled onto Crimson Dream land Lucifer and Deuce had taken him in. Once upon a time they had been a large happy family until his adoptive mother was kicked out of the pack and Lucifer soon followed. Now Noah was home again but never would he be the same bouncing black pup he remembered and never had he seen his siblings again. Slowly he stood back up, bracing himself to help with his movement. “I care because he will never add up to my real father.” With a distinct limp he moved over to the couches on the ground, picked them up and hobbled out of the library. It may not matter to anyone else but it mattered to him.
