OOC: this is hilarious. xDD

The woman would descend the staircase, Bartholomew watching the graceful movement of the emotional wreck of a woman. She didn't seem like she was too distraught, but her energy was not too happy and it was rather depressed. Bartholomew found it to be too gloomy for him really, and he tried to think of something that might make this woman happy. Maybe Mars would let him have some sort of piece of information about the woman. She went over to the sheep and started to pet it, cooed at it and everything, calling it Bartholomew. Bart smacked his forehead and then tried to get the woman to look back up at him by stepping towards her and motioning his hand upward towards his face. She called him Mars again, and she had asked him if he had brought the sheep over for her to see. Bart shook his head. Tha' sheep isn't mine. An' mah name is Bartholomew, not tha' sheeps name. Bartholomew spoke to the woman, whose name he did not know. Apparently Mars knew her though, that was pretty much all he knew about the woman.

She acted like she was going to tell him what was up for a moment, but then she stopped herself, and just stared at him for a moment. Bartholomew stood there rather dumbly as she thought about whatever she was thinking about. She stopped without saying anything about what had happened and instead, when he had asked what the sheep would have been doing following him, she called him Mars again and then she had offered a solution as to what to do about the sheep following him. Bartholomew shrugged. The sheep then tried to come inside of the house, and Orin had put herself in between himself and the sheep and the door. I'm Bartholomew, the sheep has a different name... Bartholomew corrected the woman again, telling her again that his name was Bart and the sheep, as far as he knew was nameless, but he was sure that Mars had some stupid ass name just like he had a name for Vox. Bartholomew couldn't even remember what Lyndi used to call the poor bastard before Mars had come up with the name Vox. Bartholomew knew what Vox meant, and it did make sense when it came to the personality of the steed, but still, Bartholomew didn't like the name. The woman told him that it might be hungry and that was a reason it would be following him, and he looked at the sheep and then thought about if Mars might have anything to feed it. Chances are that he did since it was apparently owned by the wolfdog. Bart rubbed his chin and frowned lightly at the woman. She tried to push the sheep out, and successfully blocked it's path, so it looked up at her an bleated at her.

Bartholomew then took it upon himself to walk over and push the sheep back outside enough to where they could close the door, and this is what had happened. When that was over, Bartholomew stood up straight and he had looked the woman straight in the eye. Bartholomew realized how much smaller she was compared to him at this moment in time. He was close enough to hug her if he was to hold out his arms for her, but of course, he did not do so, seeing as the timing would be inappropriate. What happened tha' ya' needed to tell meh? Bartholomew asked, cocking his head, a small smile cocked on his face. He looked so much different than Mars, but oh-so the same.
