That's fine. Smile sorry for the shortness. Finals are this week, so I don't have much time to write.

Voron watched as the male dove under the water, the fading sunlight shining on the ripples left in his wake. Nervousness twisted her stomach. Could he have sensed her? The black wolf's ears perked up, trying to locate him. Easing out of the shallow water she had been standing in, Voron trod back to where his discarded pants were. She sniffed the cloth, trying to determine more about this stranger. His pack scent was familier, but she couldn't place it. Voron lifted her head and looked over her shoulder towards the lake. It was disconcertingly silent, and she felt her fur prickle. Someone was watching her.

The female backed warily into the woods, every muscle on alert. Finally, her brown eyes landed in the stranger's wet form. It was as if he had been born from the lake. The setting sun caused the tips of his black fur to glow, almost hiding the scar on his leg. He looked strong and fit. Voron growled low in her throat, not sure if the male could hear her from there or not. But he would deffinitely see her raised hackles as a sign she had spotted him. Not quite sure why this stranger made her so nervous, Voron wavered between fleeing or staying to speak to him. Suddenly, she remembered. Inferni. That was the scent on his pants. She had heard about Inferni. About the way they lined their borders with wolf skulls, and about the war between them and her pack. Voron took a step towards the male, her fur bristling. She wasn't quite sure what to do. She normally avoided fighting, but from what she heard, Inferni coyotes were a vicious bunch. She was afraid that if she turned her back, the dark stranger would attack.
