Fia has had so many adventures so far...first she played Alligator with Tony after he meanly scared her by pretending to be a gator, then she had almost chased an intruder off before learning that his name was J'Adore and he used to live in the pack. Now she was a bit tired from all her adventures - even an explorer could get tired, right?
The small puppy sank down into the grass, the wind blowing gently and the clouds covering the sky. Around her was snow - lots of it. It was rather cold out here, but her thick coat protected her from it, mostly - the little Lupus only felt a little bit of chill, and even then it wasn't too much for the brave explorer who had faced alligators and fierce, large intruders alike.
She rolled over on her back so that her legs were sticking up in the air and her white belly was showing to the sky. She looked at the cloudy sky and thought it was pretty - she had never known any sky other than that of winter. She picked out the clouds that looked like certain things - one, right there! That looked like Lorenzo. And that one looked like Mommy! She giggled as she looked at all the clouds, mashed up together but different colors making their shapes. One of them was like Tony and the other one was like her daddy, Jazzy. She peered at the white expanse, trying to find herself in the clouds.
"There I am!" she shrieked in delight, pointing a paw at a small cloud that was nestled in the middle of the Marino-Knight cloud family. She giggled again and tried to spot other things in the clouds - birds and squirrels, alligators and wolves.
