Sunset gaze scrutinized the face he should know so well, but did not. The fallen prince was no wiser after her stuttering attempt of an answer, but he could not draw much for those empty words alone. The unfamiliar grimace marring those lovely features revealed more than her melodic voice could, and seeing as the two of them did not know anything of each other but the carnal touch, he supposed that this was likely to be all he could hope to receive without sowing suspicion within her light heart with the pale shades. She was nothing like him; this he had already discovered. No devil could accommodate such a lovely body with sky blue eyes speaking of warm summer days with cloudless skies. Perhaps that was where the attraction rested, the sensation of a pure entity trapped in his grasp. The Lykoi male was no monster though—not yet anyways, so there were no intentions of crushing her throat to cripple her lovely song.

The prince did not want her to learn what he was, but a dark furred man had once told him that one should not cling too tightly to silly dreams. Was there really nothing in the stars? Lips were a short, tight line on his face, but the opposing within did not last for long. Why should he care? Itachi was not ashamed of what he had done, and therefore he should not be afraid to reveal his dark deeds.
