Ralla had heard about rather than saw the newcomer. He wasn't joining AniWaya--no, quite the opposite--but instead he had come from another pack to discuss horses and animal care with Liliana. But when Ralla asked what pack he had hailed from, Sugar hadn't heard, didn't know, or refused to say. All Ralla knew was, based on Sugar's reaction to the newcomer, he didn't like the other. But of course, this only peaked Ralla's curiosity, which encouraged her to have a look around. Her duties for the time were finished--she would check in on the Great Fire at dusk, like she normally did--and the other Gata Hineyus were busy with their own duties.
She looked all around the village, keeping an eye out for this newcomer, wondering where he was. The snow blanketed the ground and with it most scents, so she was effectively on a pointless stroll with no leads. At the very least I'm getting exercise...? She tried to justify. ... It was a weak justification.
