The man felt like he had never truly understood love until these three little bundles of fur had come into the world. Whatever fears he had had about being a father had melted away the moment he had set eyes upon his children. Surely it would be impossible for him to do any sort of harm to them, unintentional or not. Haven's whole being was set on loving them and doing everything he could to give them a good life. Linden, Robin, and Felicity had only been here a few short days and already he knew he would gladly give his life for any one of them. They had become the most important beings in the world to him, the most precious. It was hard to imagine a title that would mean more to Haven than that of his Knighthood, but the one of Father had easily surpassed it.

A fire crackled merrily in the hearth as Haven sat on the couch with his pups. They were wrapped protectively in a soft blanket, the better to shield them from the cold that seeped into the walls of the cozy home. Princess was taking a nap in their room and he wasn't entirely sure where his brother Alder was. Honestly right now though, the Aatte couldn't care, too wrapped up in watching the three squirming bodies and listening to their soft mewling noises. The Cours Knight couldn't wait for them to open their eyes, for them to start showing their separate personalities. He wondered what each of them would be like. If they would take after him or Princess or be altogether different from their two parents. There were so many unknowns, but they weren't frightening anymore, they were the most exciting things he thought he had ever wanted to find out.
