*rolls over on back* Im sorry for disappearing, forgive meee T_T

Siku would not admit to anyone that the town of Wolfville creeped her out, not did she ever plan to express her unease with the strange place. It wasn't that she was afraid or unfamiliar with the relics of the human age, Siku just felt a little less free when she was close to the skeleton like buildings that she suspected were long ago vacated. She preferred the wilderness, where everything old and forgotten was destroyed as the seasons passed. There were few places in Wolfville that Siku was comfortable lingering in, but over all she was happy to have a home she could call hers. Dahlia was so much more than just pieces of a strange civilization left from another time. It was a beautiful land Siku wanted to spend her life in.

Exploring seemed to be the she wolf's plan for the day, her curiosity bringing her towards a thick forest she knew harbored a spring of water. It had been a while since Siku had eaten, and she hoped to hunt down a rabbit or something else to satisfy her hunger. Golden eyes on the look out for small game, Siku's small paws soundlessly wove her around and under trees. She moved around the branches of trees delicately, as if their iced over twigs might tear her to shreds should she brush against them. Siku was tired of pulling tiny twigs out of her thick fur all the time. As she moved through the woods, Siku spied a small white rabbit already trying to make an escape. With a loud growl, the white wolf gathered up her momentum and sprang from her crouch into a pursuit she planned would end fairly soon.

Siku found herself lagging behind in the chase as she dodged trees and bushes. She growled in frustration, the rabbit almost teasingly kicking up snow as it hopped under and over trees like nothing. 'You little bastard I'm STARVING' Siku cried mentally, dropping all former intentions to stay well groomed as she furiously tore through the fragile trees like they were made of paper. As she predicted, tiny twigs caught in her silky fur as she bounded through the forest like a wolf gone mad, but this time she didn't care in the least. Golden eyes glowing with determination, Siku nearly cried out with delight as she found herself quickly gaining on the rabbit. Strong legs vaulting over a fallen tree, it was Siku's last leap before she would try to get her jaws around the fluffy target.

Siku almost lost her prize, but last second desperation and reflex made her dive forward, seemingly delicate paws snatching up the rabbit harsh enough to break its lightest bones and draw it into her chest at the same time. The landing was hard enough to force Siku into a rolling front flip, a grunt escaping her lips as she quickly recovered. After righting herself, Siku cried out with dismay as her mangled rabbit struggled to get away. How was it still alive?! Siku did not have time to fathom this as she once again took off after what turned out to be a challenging snack. Breaking out of the wood into a clearing, Siku continued to follow the poor rabbit instead of finishing it off like she should have.

"Oh.. Saul?" Siku found herself in front of a strange frame of a house she concluded to be Saul's, Saul himself not too far off from it. Her rabbit was slightly bloodied and had given up near Saul's feet, clearly realizing it hadn't a chance in hell. Siku grinned widely, glad to see her friend again. As she strode nearer to the younger Dahlian, she became sheepish as she realized how pitiful the rabbit must have looked; outrun to death after being mauled. Siku, still in lupus form, crept forward to place a paw on the rabbit; eliciting a weird sound from it that confirmed the rabbit's tragic end. She tilted her head to the side, glancing up at Saul as she smiled meekly. "Um... this is mine.." Siku giggled, sitting on her back legs to lift it up with one paw and measure its weight. She estimated it to be about 10 pounds, healthy and fully grown, a prize indeed. Glancing up at Saul, she smiled again and placed it on the snow once more. "There's enough for me aaand you.. If you clean and cook it.." Siku winked at Saul, hoping for a 'yes'. Siku had never tried cooked meat before, and the thought of trying it was amusing to the young she-wolf.
