*slinks into thread with head down* I know guys.. I know. Sad

When Siku first began her journey out of the Great White North, she assumed she would be leaving the cold, the snow, and the storms behind. It was considered a sacrifice to the small she-wolf who grew up in a snow encased world. However to Siku's delight, snow storms were not alien to the land of 'Souls; she had not traveled far enough to escape the cold bitterness of the winter. Siku was beginning to realize that. In a way, the Eastern storms could be much more deadly than those in the Northwest. The air was wetter, harsher, and the winds stronger. Snow was something Siku thought she knew everything there was to know about, but she was proven wrong once the humid air hit her. It lingered in her lungs, and froze to her fur. She could sense the difference, feel the change in severity.

Location was the key, and today Mother Nature had concocted the perfect circumstances for a truly devastating storm. White fur startlingly hidden amidst the blowing snow, Siku spent her afternoon keeping an eye on the area around Wolfville. Running to keep warm, and resting under snow drifts when she tired, Siku was comforted by the constant wandering she had done as of lately. She knew what could happen to a wolf unprepared to face the cold, and for some strange reason Siku felt she was obligated to brave the weather and ensure that there were no souls in danger during the harsh storm. If anything were to happen to anyone within miles of Siku, she was sure to blame herself, regardless of the situation.

Siku began to consider finding better shelter than a simple snow drift, the wet cold seeming to soak through her whole body. Running without pause helped to warm up her limbs, but one could not run forever, especially in the blinding conditions of the blizzard upon Dahlia. The white she-wolf was now padding through the thick snow just outside of Wolfville, slowly but surely making her way into the town. There was so many strange buildings and creations Siku sensed were not built by wolf, and knowing this she felt anxious whenever in the town for too long. She preferred to be in the wild; but today there was hardly any choice. She had to find shelter, and she had to find it that night. Siku did not want to think about what would happen if she was forced to spend the night in the snow. Luckily, the white wolf had never gotten lost before; her sense of direction perhaps her most valuable skill. Many nights obsessively exploring Dahlia had given her a clear mental map of the area.

As Siku made her way toward Wolfville, she continued to keep her eyes and ears out for the smallest signs of other life in what little blurry landscape she could see. Her head was down, ears pressed back and slim body low to the snow as she traveled almost contently. The cold was nothing to be upset about, unless it posed a danger. Thoughtful but alert, one white paw hung in the air as Siku froze mid step. She could hear the faintest voice calling out. It could have been her imagination or the wind, but Siku chose to trust her instincts, and immediately sought to find the source of the sound. Strong legs pouncing over the deep snow, if Siku had been visible, she would have looked like a rabbit bounding through the snow as she pursued the voice. Her suspicions were confirmed when she heard the voice again, and Siku was almost positive it belonged to her Alpha; Conor Soul.

“Conor! It's.. It's Me!.. Siku.." Siku called out for him, her voice wavering as she struggled through an unexpectedly deeper patch of snow. The thick white flakes were suddenly up to her neck, and the small white wolf looked as if she was swimming through the snow until she stumbled onto a shallower trail, spotting the Orange blur through the thick haze of snow falling. Seeing him for the first time since her arrival, Siku was excited, anxious, relieved and worried. After getting through the deep snow, she broke into a run, fearing she might lose him in the blizzard if she didn't get close fast enough. "Is everything all righ-" In her rush, the she-wolf had misjudged the distance between them, and smashed right into her Alpha with a breathless yelp.
