Angels on the moon.

After laying for what seemed like hours, help had finally arrived. The boy twitched in the man's arms, burying his head in the soft fur on his chest. He did not know how long they had been outside.. But even a few minutes in this weather could do damage. Words seemed impossible, and even with the thought of home dancing around in his innocent mind, he knew they were not out of trouble yet.

It came as no surprise that the male was not alone. He was the alpha, and that was for sure. His smell was the one that marked the border between Dahlia land and the world outside of it. It comforted him in a way, knowing that he had to have at least a bit of experience. He couldn't really guess whether or not storms like this occured often, since this was his first real winter. The first one he had endured he could hardly remember, so seeing the fresh snow fall seemed like a completely new experience. His small ears did some what of a perk as he heard the word 'sleep'- Which was definately not spoken by a male. It was light and gentle, staying only for a moment before being whisked away by the wind. He let his eyes begin to droop once again, feeling the all to familiar sting that followed.
