Set in the early afternoon of the 5th. 300+
Savina had woke that morning with a feeling in her bones that something was coming. It was if there was some pressure that was bearing down on the land and it was as ominous as the feeling that had settled inside the manor recently with all of the pack's misfortunes. Crimson Dreams could not sustain too many more blows and everything inside the Consul was telling her that they needed to prepare. After checking in on Artemis (she was still asleep) she had donned her coat and scarf and walked out onto the porch of Haven Manor. Emerald eyes scanned the horizon as if trying to scry the future. A cold gust blew over her and her gaze turned upwards to the clouds that seemed to hover eerily close to the ground. They were dark and told the woman all she needed to know: a storm was coming.
The Mediterranean-born wolf had never weathered a severe winter storm, and so she was not entirely sure how she should go about getting the pack ready for it. First she checked on the food stores. They were adequate, but it would not be a bad idea to try and supplement them more. Perhaps she could probe the members to see if anyone would be willing to organize a hunting party, since for her part she felt she needed to stay near the mansion. Another strong wind gust hit the broadside of the mason structure and rattled the glass windows in their frames. The windows. If the wind kept that up, it could easily break them. They needed to be reinforced.
Time was spent scouring the mansion for any spare, flat wood that could be found. After she had found all she could, she asked her brother if he had any more to spare, and also asked him for some hammers and nails. Once all the supplies were gathered by the front door, Savina let out a short, soft call asking for help. If even a couple helped her, they could get the windows on the ground floor all boarded up outside quickly enough. She worried time might be of the essence.
