As the winter winds litter

You guys rock! Thanks for being so speedy! Big Grin 300+

Savina's hands were tucked in her pockets to keep them warm, knowing soon enough they would need to be exposed to the cold for a prolonged period of time. She rather detested these cold Nova Scotia winters and it seemed this was turning out to be the worst of all, for many reasons. This oncoming storm was only the most recent of misfortunes to befall the Dreaming pack. It did not take any time at all for some of her members to answer her call for assistance. Her son was the first to come and she offered him a soft smile to allay his worries for the time being. There was no cause for panic. Before she could answer her son's questions though, Jazper came out wrapped in his fur cloak and explained things himself. Next was her mate, and it warmed her heart to see Kansas come to join them. She knew there was some ill feelings between her mate and Jazper currently, and was glad she was here to mediate if the need arose. Hopefully the Centurio would not try and pick at the wounds in front of their son, though. If he did, the Consul would have no issue putting him in his place.

The Italian woman touched her love's face with slender fingers lovingly as he kissed her neck. "Yes, I do have a project for us. Jazper is right, there's a storm coming." Even though she was not from here, she could sense that much. The leader nodded at the Knight male's words, glad for his insight and experience. "We will need all of that, but first I think we need to get the windows boarded up. We'll be in a bad way if any of them break," she said with a frown. Not only would it let the cold more readily into the house, but it would mean shattered glass upon the floor as well that could embed itself in their tender pads. "We need to get all the windows on the ground floor covered up on the outside. Unfortunately we won't be able to get the upper windows covered on the outside, so we'll just have to do those from the inside." It was true, a ladder likely could have been found, but Savina was not going to risk anyone else falling from those heights like her daughter had.
