Although on the outside Jazper's expression remained calm, inside the story was a little different. The pups were still little and only the gods knew if they would make it through this size of a storm. They would work quickly, yes, but could they do enough to save everyone. He could vividly remember his mother's concerning frown when his father arrived home from a hunt empty handed. They had whispered, trying to keep Jazper's puppy mind from knowing that there was something wrong but he had known just as he was just his three would. His mind went to Sophia and Aro praying that his son would be home before the storm and that his wild daughter would have the sense to secure herself in a building.

Kansas' scent filled his nose and he could feel the hairs on his neck raise but he kept his mouth shut. Today was not the day to cause a fight, there was something bigger than their own feelings going on now and the Knight knew damn well that they would have to work together to keep everyone safe. Nodding his greeting he allowed his ears to perk at Silvano's concern for his sister and cousins. Jazper had been worried sick when Silvano brought Tony home a few days ago, both soaked to the bone. He owed his nephew his boy's life.

A smile graced his muzzle as he stepped forward and picked up as much as the wood his large arms could carry. “I agree, we should start with Artemis's room.” His poor niece had been sleeping ever since her fall. It was something the entire pack held a sadness about but they all insisted there could still be hope of her waking after all, she was still breathing. Denali had left them shortly after the incident and had not returned. The coal warrior had been around the boarders every day and had yet to catch even a whiff of the earthly painted male.

Golden eyes found their way back to his dark leader. She would need as much comfort and support as the pack could muster in this time. He couldn't even begin to understand the pain of having a child lay there, alive but not living. If they didn't get the top windows done they would have to all huddle on the main floor. “The manor is big enough that if we don't make it to the upstairs we can all life in the main floor with rooms to spare.” He reassured, “If worse comes to worse we could hide underground and make fires or head for the military camp.” The earth would keep them safe from harm or the bunks in the abandoned camp could provide shelter and housing if the manor became unlivable. All Jazper was concerned about right now was keeping the pack safe. If it was a physical fight he wouldn't be as worried but this was something that involved the pups and was completely out of their control. They would just have to do their best.
