Savina could detect the tension radiating from Jazper's large form and her emerald eyes shot the man a sharp look. He seemed to be controlling himself well enough, but she wanted to show him that she would not tolerate any outbursts at the moment. They all had bigger things to be concerned with than some petty hurt from the past (which is exactly how she saw the situation). It was difficult to keep her mind focused here at the task at hand, but she was doing her best. Right now not even Artemis was her main concern, but Denali. They had no idea where he was and with a storm barreling down on them the danger he was in skyrocketed. The mother wanted to go out immediately and search for her wayward son, but she had to stay here and protect Crimson Dreams first.
"I think we should have enough, yes. If not we can look for more though," she said in response to her son's question. Savina had done a fairly thorough search of the Manor, but there was likely wood elsewhere in the lands if they found they needed it. Silvano suggested starting with Artemis' room and that which belonged to Ghita and the pups as well and she gave her boy a warm smile. Jazper agreed with this plan and gathered up much of the wood, Kansas grabbing the rest and heading indoors. "Perhaps two of us can work inside on the upper floors while the other two work outside?" This meant either Silvano needed to follow his dad indoors or she would, that would be up for her son to decide though. The Consul's main concern was making sure Jazper and Kansas were not working alone together.
The Centurio made some more suggestions and she nodded at them, but quickly said, "Yes, but let us take things one step at a time. We will get the windows taken care of and then worry about what needs to be done after." Savina didn't have the energy to let her mind spread out to what they should do in each possible scenario. One thing at a time, that was how she could manage to get through this.
