He could feel the pride coming off of his mother's warm smile and the boy could not help but grin back at her. It was pretty uplifting to see her react that way. It just made him feel like he had been doing the right things lately, since before he felt like he had done nothing but waste time. Artemis's fall seemed to put everything into perspective for everyone, but Savina still seemed to take it harder than them all. That was why when the woman suggested they split up into two, he piped up, "I'll go with Uncle Jazper." He wanted his parents to do something together, even though it was something so serious. He did not know how much time they had spent alone, but he could tell it was not enough with how often Savina sat by his sister's side.

There were other reasons for him going with his uncle, too. After all, he had managed to get the boy home after he had wandered out onto the ice. Somehow, Silvano had gotten the chills for a day or two but then perked up fast with little more than mild sniffles. He, however, had not really gone to check on his cousin lately, so he could always talk to Jazper about his kids and how they were doing. The Sadira boy's eyes trailed after his father, who grinned at him, as he headed up toward Artie's room. Maybe it would have been better to go with his dad.. Nah, it was fine. "Better do it right, Dad, don't wanna have Cambi fix up your thumbs," he called after him in a light jest, trying to lighten the strange tension he had been feeling before. Picking up nails and a hammer off the floor that had not managed to get into their grasps, the boy trotted after the big black male. Silvano readjusted his scarf around his neck, making sure it was tightly on.
