Word Count :: 371 HEEEEEEEEERP. So I'm the slowest person ever. ._. Kaena is a derp, guys. She does not know she are in danger~ Also Kesho is adorkable.

The silver-shaded woman's cave had been strangely empty lately, ridded of Itachi's presence for nearly two months now. Still, she could not shake that strange empty feeling from her cave -- the room where he had slept now smelled thoroughly of him, though it had grown faint and musty over the wintery weeks. Still, it was there, reminding the old woman of her lost cause every time she caught so much as a whiff of it. This general feeling of dreariness had kept her inside for most of the prior night, even before the storm had even started with ferocity. The borders were well-attended to with Kesho and all of the younger canines of the clan; she had no business venturing outside in such weather.

In the middle of the night, she woke up to find the entrance to her cave strangely obscured, half-piled with snow. Even then, the coyote hadn't thought much of it, and she had simply fallen back asleep until a muffled, faraway noise woke her again some hours later. It sounded like Gabriel. She opened her eye to find that her cave was still dark, and peculiarly warm. Blinking her yellow-golden eye, she peered to the entrance to find it was completely packed with snow. Curiously, she stood, stretching her body out and making her way to the entrance. She didn't venture very close, as a strange shuffling had begun, and the hybrid feared the snow collapsing over her, though it was not that she thought it was dangerous. Rather, she much preferred to remain away from the frigid-cold snow -- she was stiff and achey enough in the morning as it was.

She heard her voice, but she did not immediately recognize the voice through the wall of snow. “I'm in here,” she responded, albeit grumpily -- she did not realize the danger of running out of air, as she thought her cave had plenty of it. The hybrid woman took a few steps back from the entrance, following the advice of the feminine voice that sounded like one of her grand-daughters. She stood, listening to the scrabble and scratch of her clan-mates, wondering who had showed up to dig her out of here, waiting patiently.
