Shaw could feel it before he knew it was coming. So why didn’t he warn the others? In any case he knew it was coming. He just had to wait until he got a tear from the cloth that was attached to his house to get the gist, the winds were picking up and snow was starting to come down harder. Shaw hurried to Thornbury, howling for anyone outside of the small town to hurry and find shelter. There were only so many spots that they could stay in and the most sturdy of them that he’d worked with had been Sky’s. He hurried as fast as his two legs could go in the whipping of the wind. A snowstorm was brewing and he knew it wasn’t good. Shaw made it to town only a half hour later hoping to expect a few people waiting for him, at least to learn what was happening. No one was there. He howled again this time as loudly as he could, letting the wind take the howl with it. It was a state of emergency, and they all needed to come to make sure that everyone was accounted for. Howling a few more times, he stood at Sky’s porch waiting and hoping he wasn’t too late. It was so hard to see with the wind blowing and such.
