He thought he heard something between his howls’ but what got to him was the very familiar howl of Orin. His ears perked up as it sounded urgent. Looking over at her book store he could see why. It was hard to see much, but he could tell the difference between the snow and the store and the snow was winning, covering the doors. But the windows. He hurried over to the store and soon was able to see the pregnant woman in the second floor.

Do the windows Open from downstairs? Can you fit through them?

Shawchert cried, that was a stupid question as he saw that a window had already broken. He growled, well there was too much glass now… Looking around he hurried to the back door, which was covered… Curse it! He frantically dug at the snow, throwing it this way and that. He was not panicking, in no way would he do that, but it was cold, so cold, and Orin was stuck in her house where the snow was filtering in. he dug and dug, though it seemed like it was getting resettled with more snow, he found he was making some progress. He howled once or twice, knowing a few other ‘d Arte’s were out there… What if they were trapped too, his heart clenched at the thought. He dug and dug until he cleared a small way for the door to open and he wrenched it open, keeping it that way as he ran into the store…

Orin come on, we have to get to safety!

Shawchert was panting from all the work he did, digging out the door, he kept his eye on it so that it stayed open, but he wanted to escort her out… He was at a cross roads now, what he wanted to do he couldn’t because there was something he needed to do… that was to have an escape from this death trap.
