So you, Noss, and I will alternate until either the thread is complete or another person joins, at which point there will be a 3 day wait period before the chain should continue.

It was a blizzard, that much the Russo was very well acquainted with. They had plenty in Russia, especially where he had been born and raised. They had just been much more prepared for them, and the buildings were all centralized; no one in the family lived far spread. They could get everyone together at once and keep them safe, warm, and busy for the entire time the storm raged outside. After, it had always just been a matter of clean-up and damage control. And that was always just getting food and supplies and making sure stores were as they had been before. Here, now, it was about making sure those who were in the hotel were fed and warm. Unfortunately, they had not been prepared; the storm had hit suddenly, and they had a scant dozen or so hours to prepare. They were not prepared.

So Anatoliy volunteered, or rather, posed to every able bodied adult that a few healthy folk face the storm and head out to find nearby supplies, which mostly meant heading to Lunenburg to scavenge. Yes, in the middle of a blizzard during a Nova Scotia winter. To the Russo, it was the only choice and they had to do it, with pups, mothers, and friends stuck in the hotel. That was their duty and this was Anatoliy's. "So who vill come vith me to look for supplies?" asked the man, to no one in particular, in the hotel, where he had gone; there was no way he was going to face the blizzard in Anann's cabin. He hoped to get at least two more people to help him; alone, he would do no good. "Ve need to go before it gets much vorse. Ve need zhe supplies." Alone, he would do no good. He needed someone, anyone, to help.
