His dark furred cousin was quick to grasp hold of his oustretched arm as he came near hardening puppy claws clnging to his strong forearm to stop her from falling down once more. She was cute as she snuggled up against him, allowing him to move his arm into a protective crook around her body. Held tightly against her chest it left him an arm down. Still, he hadnt developed his body in the mornings of running for nothing. Skillfully swinging down from the high branch she had managed to get to, he clung to the top of the lowest branch before releasing the high branch and crouching for balance. With a soft lick to his cousins head Saul launched them both down onto the ground, tight arm keeping her from jostling too much of hitting the floor. They landed easily on Saul's feet, rolling his feet forward then back to absorb the connection of wolf to ground. He had heard of wolves shattering bones from incorrect landings and had no intention of becoming a cripple. Her little voice brought him back to earth and Saul grinned down at Bris' daughter before placing her on the floor.

"All in a days work Eclipse!"

He murmered softly before swiftly shifting down to his lupus form once more. He didnt like to tower over his cousin and had no intention of doing so now. Instead he nuzzled her head, checking to make sure she was really okay before he stretched his limbs out to keep them from seizing up. It wouldnt be good if he had strained a muscle or anything and sought to keep his muscles warm and fluid so that this wouldnt happen. Eclipse was speaking again and wise green eyes turned towards her. She had explained why she was up the tree before he even had to ask. Smart kid. She seemed to understand the adults around her and Saul was pleased his cousin was becoming intelligent and alert. Still, she would never be too old for a little indulgence.

"What was it Ecplise? Was it a monster?"

He teased, knowing his cousin knew him well enough to know it was neither malicious nor serious. Her body was shaking with the force of her tail wags and Saul sat down, rolling his shoulders once more to keep his muscles moving. He liked spending time with the girl on her own from time to time.
