Theft of Pride

I feel irrational, so confrontational
Disorganised was an understatement, as far as I could see. It seemed that no one had paid the slightest bit of attention to anyone who was heading in the same direction as they were, except perhaps the perplexing Skoll. I was quite certain parents and children had been separated, and I just couldn't find it in myself to care. They were probably better off.

"Hm," I said instead. I seemed to be doing a lot of that, lately. "I wonder how many of you think these lands are already unclaimed." I quickly picked my way down the rocky shoreline, away from her, and pointed to the far off coast. It wasn't really that far, but this little peninsula was enough to kill a careless wolf.

"I'd say this would be the best place to lay a claim on the shoreline." Diversions. They're never enough to take away from whatever stupidity you may have unleashed moments before, are they?
But the reality is I'm getting away with murder[/html]
