Nearly two weeks had come and gone since the storm still Farore's ward haunted the greenhouse and very little else. A few times the girl: her sister, peer and even superior in Dahlian lands, had left the green house, most notably when Farore had taken it upon herself to replace the glass panels, although she could only replace one of the two that had fallen down upon her sister's head. Wood covered the opening of the other hole, but it kept the cold from getting in, although Nayru's plants had mostly shriveled and died due to the exposure to the frosty air. Farore didn't care about the plants, so long as her sister was warm, and the temperature quickly rose and returned to normal once the ceiling had been fixed. When Nayru came home she did not offer thanks, but bowed her head lowly and this caused a pain in Farore's heart. So silent and withdrawn Nayru was lately that Rore hadn’t been able to correct her sister once realizing Nayru's mistake.
Sweetpea and Pumpkin? Where had Nayru come up with those names? Why had her sister come here at all if she hadn’t known the truth about their parents? Her two toned ears fell flat on her skull as she wandered the pack lands, sticking close to the borders of Wolfville. One her right the land was wilderness, and to her left buildings rose and painted the skyline with the human development. Traveling on the edge of the two worlds, Farore found it almost calming that Dahlia de Mai had both civilization and the wilds within its boundaries. When one bored her she could move to the other, drifting between two very different landscapes as it suited her. For now she lingered between the two, unwilling to commit her time to one or the other, just as she was unwilling to commit herself to telling the truth, clearing the air and deciding what the next step to take was. She had found Nayru, that should have been enough.
