wc 440, Tala gazing upon her broken cabin. C:

The sky had been bitter in the aftermath of the storm. The clouds were dreary, the sun seemed pale, even the wind had less of a sting. Even the earth was feeling the weight of it's own punishment. The world had become quite still, lacking any luster these last few weeks. Though Tala thanked each and every god that was out there for the still. If it had not been for this aftermath of calm who knows how she would have recovered. Waking up in the home of Noah and Yuki, Tala knew she would have died if it were not for their kindness, and their bond. She could never thank them enough for what they had done for her. The wounds were still fresh on her soul, as well as her mind. It was why she had managed to get herself through the mountains of snow to stand upon the wreck of a mass she used to call her home. Her cabin was left in ruin, her old home demolished.

The sight near brought tears to her eyes. The wound on her head was mostly healed by now, but the presence of this place gave her ghost pains. A Optime hand was brought up to the back of her head to rub as a depressed exhale left her maw. Where would she go now? She could not stay with Noah and Yuki forever. She had already been there for a few weeks, her welcome was going to run dry soon. But where would she go? Tala needed to scout out a vacated, still greatly intact cabin for her new home. A small whine escaped her throat as her gaze fell to snow. She could only imagine the full extend of the damage to the rest of the packs. Had they been so devastated too? Surely god was not so cruel as to do this to only them.

Tala took a seat in the snow, her amber orbs stuck upon the mass of wood on the ground. Three walls still stood in shaking temptation, the roof had collapsed as well as the doored wall. She may climb in there one day to try and find usable supplies, mementos, memories. She had nearly lost her life in this house, but she had been saved. The mirror Noah had given her was still in there. If anything, she would find just that to take with her to her new home. That meant more to her than anything else. Hell would pay if it was damaged, let alone broken. The thought made her anxious. Just what else had she lost to the earth?
