Imacai's ear twitched as he heard yet another sound. What was that? "Duppy?" No, that seemed a bit silly. Though he supposed it was a possibility. It wasn't as if Imacai was a firm believer but he wasn't exactly a skeptic either. He'd heard some of the older generations on Barbados speaking of duppies and how they came out at night. Mischievous duppies were the cause of things going missing and being displaced if you were to ask them. Of course Imacai had been able to use that cover to continue his way of life. He was able to take what he wanted and the superstitious blamed it on other things. Still, why would a duppy be out on this island all by itself? And Imacai wasn't really carrying anything with him. There was no reason to distract him to take anything.
Then a slight movement caught his attention and he turned his head to see someone peeking out at him. Not a duppy but some actual being. "Mornin'. How you?" He called out with a wave and moved over to where he spotted the female peeking out from. Once he got close he dropped to his hand and knees to crawl his way right on around behind the female so that he could sniff at her rump. She was certainly of Inferni as well and clearly a female. She was also older than him. Not extremely old but still older, just by a few years perhaps? Once he had finished his information gathering he turned himself about to give the female the chance to do the same. "Imacai." He gave his name as he shifted his tail out of the way and waited.
It was while he waited that he spotted someone else walking around. "Mornin'! 'Ere!" He called out to the dark female that he had encountered one time before. The island was small with nothing to hide behind, except the shacks at which Imacai and the russet colored female had already found themselves beside. Because of this one would have to be blind to not see the other. And well, it was impolite to just ignore. Especially when it turned out to be someone that your had already met before.
