Imacai's search of the closest shack was quick, but thorough, and she was surprised to see nothing inside. The russet woman pulled away anxiously. Had her shadows returned to haunt her? No, certainly not. But again, the fur at the back of her neck rose, and whispered voices turned her ears. It took all of her attention until the voice of the coyote drew her elsewhere. A boat was rested up against the wall of one of the ruined buildings. She didn't see the value in the same was as the newcomer, and curiosity swam through her features. Aiming to get away from whatever monster was lurking in the world, she approached the man.
"What good is a ruined boat?" she asked, crossing her arms with vague irritation. She saw no problem with swimming everywhere, though she had never really tried to swim long distances; it was a recreational activity she partook in during the summertime, to beat the heat of the world. However, she knew that other members of the clan were not so simple as she; they liked horses, so why not boats? She shook her head, turning to glance at the other shacks as an unintelligible whisper reached her ears again. Getting off the island was now her priority.
