Well he had spent months living in a port town. Of course a boat would excite him after having been around them for so long. A boat meant that more of an area could be covered. It meant there was a way to move to parts that would otherwise be unreachable. Or well unreachable to him since he wasn't exactly the strongest of swimmers. As long as there wasn't too strong of a pull of current then he could do decently enough. He was still slow at it though.
He glanced to the female in confusion at her words. How could she not knew what it meant to have a boat. "Fix it. Ride it. Go far." He broke down his speech into short little clips to get his point across rather than struggling with something longer. He knew that he had to alter his pattern of speech so that he didn't stick out so much anymore. But that took conscious effort that he didn't feel like putting in right now. After all, he had to study and make sure that others that he can into spoke the same way as this female and that she wasn't just some oddity or something.
"Go check?" He asked of the female, directing her towards the last shack that had yet to be explored. Maybe she would find something that she thought was valuable and interesting in there while he worked to get the boat and its paddles out of the shack. If he could get it back to the mainland and fixed up then he could show the female just what use it could be. He could how her just what a great find it was. Then again Imacai had grown accustomed to island life where boats were essential if you wanted to get somewhere else.
